What’s included

Duct Leakage Testing

We use diagnostic equipment to measure air leakage from your HVAC duct system and compare the results with the criteria that apply to your project.

Leaks can allow conditioned air to escape before it reaches your living space. Testing helps identify whether the duct system meets the required leakage standard.

What you receive: Measured leakage results, a clear explanation of any issues, and applicable verification documentation.

Airflow Verification

We measure airflow through the HVAC system and evaluate the result against your project's applicable verification requirements.

Airflow affects how the equipment delivers heating and cooling. Insufficient airflow can limit system performance, even when the equipment is properly sized.

What you receive: Recorded airflow measurements, verification findings, and applicable reporting.

Fan Efficacy Verification

We measure blower fan electrical power and evaluate it in relation to measured system airflow using the applicable verification procedure.

This check helps verify how much electrical power the fan uses to move air through the installed system.

What you receive: Recorded fan power and airflow findings, with applicable fan efficacy verification documentation.

Refrigerant Charge Verification

We evaluate refrigerant charge using the field verification procedure applicable to your cooling equipment, metering device, and testing conditions.

Refrigerant charge affects cooling performance and efficiency. Where the required procedure applies, measurements help verify that the installation meets the specified criteria.

What you receive: Documented verification results and a clear explanation if corrections or a return visit are needed.

ECC / CHEERS Documentation

We perform the required independent field verification for your residential HVAC project and complete applicable verification documentation through the CHEERS registry.

We help explain the testing scope, communicate results, and provide documentation to support the energy compliance portion of your permit process.

What you receive: Applicable verification records and guidance on next steps. Permit issuance and final approval remain with your local building department.

The $295 package covers one standard residential HVAC system, with duct leakage, airflow, fan efficacy, and refrigerant charge verification where applicable, plus applicable CHEERS verification documentation. We confirm the scope and site readiness before scheduling. Additional systems, return visits or retesting, and travel outside our service area are quoted separately. HVAC installation, repairs, refrigerant adjustments, and city permit fees are not included.
